This is a now page. It's a snapshot of what's going on in my life right now.
Last Updated: April 2026.
The Tutor Dojo
What started as Tutor Gym has evolved into the Tutor Dojo, a space I built for top tutors to sharpen their skills. We're talking 10+ year professionals, high earners, people who take this seriously. We share tools, frameworks, and honest conversations about what actually works when a kid is stuck. Think iron sharpens iron. As far as I know, it's the only space like it.
Turning 40
I turned 40 this year. To mark the occasion, I got my closest friends from high school together and played baseball. If you've seen The Sandlot, you know exactly what it looked like. If you haven't, picture grown men acting like eight-year-olds and feeling completely justified about it.
London and New York Summer Boot Camps
I'm running one-week intensive SAT boot camps in London (July 6 to 9) and New York (July 20 to 23) for some of the top students in the world. Intense, focused, and honestly good for business. Bringing the whole family to both cities, which helps.
Speaking at Marom 2026
My Free Press article, The War on Knowledge, led to an invitation to speak at the Tikvah Marom Summit in Miami, a national conference for Jewish day school leaders. I talked to about 300 teachers about the troubling trend of schools moving away from factual knowledge. It was one of the best rooms I have ever been in. They invited me back. I'm returning as a featured speaker for Marom 2026 in March, same topic, bigger conversation.
Making Stuff Online
I'm still creating videos for Scalar Learning (110K subscribers) and adding lessons to my SAT Skool community.
The goal remains the same: make learning less mysterious and more doable.
DILFs of Larchmont
The DILFs of Larchmont are expanding. We've been making short comedy videos, and the official Shopify store is launching soon. Conan O'Brien mentioned us, and now we have merch. That's what momentum looks like for an aggressively normal dad group.
I wrote more about that story on this blog here.
Comedy
I host the Backyard Comedy Series, my ongoing attempt to reduce loneliness through jokes told behind my house. It works better than you'd expect.
Read more about our last comedy crawl here. Or you can read more about when I had 300 people come together for a comedy show.
Life With Two Kids
Baby #2 is settling in, and the house is both louder and funnier than before. We're finding our new rhythm as a family of four.
What's Next
More teaching. More writing. More parenting. And apparently, more dad merch. Updates will arrive sporadically, depending on how cooperative the kids are.
The End.
